PHOTOGRAPHY

[ CAPTURING LIGHT AND SHADOW ]

In deploying photography in my work, I aim to infuse the true nature of light and shadow into my creations. This deployment takes place both in and out of the darkroom...with and without a camera. Over time, the alchemy of transferring a moment into an image by harnessing light, has become integral to my creative process and resulting work.

These captures are all created using a 35mm fully manual camera. All film processing and development was done by hand, resulting in my most traditional photographic work.

Pinhole Cameras &
Cyanography

These captures are all created using Pinhole camera and Cyanography. All the cameras were made by hand, resulting in my most unpredictable photographic work.

Negative Exposures

These captures are all created without using a camera at all. All of the work is done inside the darkroom, resulting in my most abstract photographic work.
